About Us
Who we are
Boston Terrier Rescue of Greater Houston, or BTRGH, is a 501(c)(3)
non-profit corporation, underpin by a group of volunteers and
supporters who tirelessly donate their time and talents to the
mission of rescuing Boston Terriers from Texas, Louisiana and
Mississippi.
Our goals
BTRGH’s goal is to reduce the number of homeless, neglected and
abused animals – an overwhelming problem in our country – and
place them into responsible, loving furever-homes.
What We Do
When entering our care, all dogs are examined by our
veterinarians, and are:
- ⁃ treated for any illnesses or injuries (most commonly heartworm and broken bones)
- ⁃ spayed/neutered
- ⁃ vaccinated
- ⁃ dewormed
- ⁃ bathed
- ⁃ placed on flea and heartworm preventative
