Gable came to us from a kill shelter, where he would have been euthanized if he had not gone into rescue. His front leg was hanging and seemed dislocated, but when we took him to our vet, he determined Gable’s leg was broken in 3 places. Gable was referred to our orthopedic surgeon, who determined that the break was too far gone and in such bad shape that it would probably never heal properly. The decision was made to amputate Gable’s front leg, and he is doing well since his surgery.
Gable is approximately one year old, and just a beautiful boy. He gets along well with other dogs, and is now ready for his forever home!
